Our Safe catgarden
We have recently movedand this time we have made our whole garden safe with an electric fence for our precious cats. Safety for our cats comes first and still this way they can play outside (under supervision) and enjoy the fresh air. And we do not have to worrie about keeping the door and windows closed all the time! We have used an electric wiresystem who keeps our cats in and other cats out of the garden. click here to see how this system works.
It works great and the cats are so happy to run around in the garden, play hide and seek in the bamboo and afcourse take our place in the garden chairs in the sunshine.
Well as long as they are happy so am I. If you have the time to make your garden catfriendly I think that is one way to improve your cats health. No obisitas (they can chase and run after eachother, climb a cattree, or just relax in the sunshine. And best of all, when we sit in ourt garden the cats can keep us company. A ragdoll is happy to be with his owners and this way we do not have to worrie about keeping windows closed. Also no other catvisitors can make their unpleasant entry :-)
na onze verhuizing naar een tussenwoning hebben we onze tuin helemaal katvriendelijk gemaakt. Zelfs voordat we binnen alles af (en we zijn nog laaaang niet klaar) hebben vond ik het belangrijk dat de katten lekker buiten konden spelen...maar dan wel veilig!
Cats safety first!
Katten die buiten vrij loslopen worden voortdurend blootgesteld aan allerlei gevaren.
Niet alleen lopen ze een reëel gevaar door een auto te worden aangereden, vergiftigd te worden, meegnomen etc (statistisch gezien wordt een "buitenkat" gemiddeld 4-5 jaar oud, terwijl een "binnenkat" wel 18-20 jaar kan worden!) maar ook bedreigen allerlei ziektes onze lievelingen.- niet alleen ziektes waartegen gevaccineerd kan worden als kattenziekte en niesziekte, maar ook ziekten als FIP, FeLV en FIV.
